2016 has started and I plan to keep my intention to make new series of paintings this year.
I’ve been struggling with the choice of materials to work with. I really love the look & feel of oil paint but I love the way I can work with acrylics…
I love to paint in layers but with oil I feel I have to wait to long for the layers to dry in between. While writing this I’ve decided to use acrylics for the first series. This will allow me to work faster and it will help me stay focussed. Great plan, if I do say so myself! ;)
As a topic I plan to further explore femininity and the power of women. It makes me happy to see and hear more & more women are discovering who they really. However we still need a lot more female energy around the world to create a balance. I would love to inspire women (and men) to be inspired by other inspiring women.
