Why, O why did I decide to start a weekly inspiration post 2 months before organising an expo? ;)

As you can imagine I’m quite busy at the moment so I was thinking about making a fast post (that didn’t turn out to go as fast as I thought buy anyway ;)) that’s giving you lot’s of inspiration and came to podcasts!

A podcast is an audio program, like a radio show, that is posted to the Internet, iTunes and/or Google Play and most of them are free. Check this link if you want more practical information on how to listen to podcasts.

I discovered podcasts in 2013 or 2014 after reading Tim Ferriss’s book, The Four Hour Workweek, and loved them right away. They give you so much information en inspiration in a short amount of time and you can listen to them while doing something else like cooking, painting, driving a car or taking a relaxing bath.

I love reading but I’m a very slow reader and get distracted easily so podcast are perfect for me. I listen to all kinds of podcast but love the ones about self- en business development, art and marketing the most. You can however find podcasts on just about any subject you can imagine.

Do you listen to podcasts? If so, I’ld love to know which ones are your favourites! Add them to the comments below or let me know on Facebook! :)

My favourite podcasts

  • The Tim Ferris Podcast

This podcast works out how Oprah became not only the biggest daytime show of all time, but also a cultural phenomenon. This podcast desperately needs to have more than six episodes and a couple of bonus extras.

From business, marketing and career advice, to tackling failure, disappointment and fear, to philanthropy and doing our part to make the world a more loving, just and equitable place — they cover it all. Get inspired, grow stronger, more confident and create a business and life you genuinely love.

  • Being Boss

Being Boss = Mindset, Habits, Tactics, and Lifestyle for Creative Entrepreneurs. Emily Thompson and Kathleen Shannon believe in building a business you love, making bank, and being unapologetically who you are 100% of the time. They have a combined experience and expertise in branding and coaching small online businesses to be more boss in work and life by focusing on “boss” mindsets, habits & routines, tools, tactics & strategies, blended with a little bit of hustle. They also interview other bosses such as Brene Brown, Marie Forleo, Ramit Sethi, Danielle LaPorte, Tara Gentile, and more.

Just Like Marie Forleo these podcasts can be quite girly but I can handle that. Can you? ;)

Speaking with guests from the world of academia, popular culture and the arts, they’ll help us to see the ulterior truth behind our constructed reality. And have a laugh. You either love or hate him & I must say I love his way of viewing and questioning the world we live in. Find his older podcasts here.
