What I learned from doing a 100 day project…

On Tuesday April 19th, 2016, Ella Luna, author of the book ‘The Crossroads of should and must’ started a 100 day project on Instagram. The idea is to do ”something creative’ for 100 days in a row and share what you made on Instagram.

I decided to enter and make an illustration a day. It was quite a challenge and I needed 125 days to finish but I’m quiet happy with the result because it made me want to draw & create again! :)

The most important thing I learned was that the best inspiration comes from working. When you start working other things come to mind and you evolve a lot faster dan when you keep thinking about how to develop an idea best. I did that for wayyy to long. ;)

Like Picasso once said;  ‘Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.’

These are all 100 illustrations. I’m not happy with all of them so sharing them anyway was a big part of the challenge for a perfectionist like me. ;)

Do you like to challenge yourself? Let me know on Facebook!

X, Kathleen.
