On Tuesday April 19th, 2016, Ella Luna, author of the book ‘The Crossroads of should and must’ started a100 day project on Instagram. The idea is to do ”something creative’ for 100 days in a row and share what you made on Instagram.
I decided to enter and make an illustration a day. It was quite a challenge and I needed 125 days to finish but I’m quiet happy with the result because it made me want to draw & create again! :)
The most important thing I learned was that the best inspiration comes from working. When you start working other things come to mind and you evolve a lot faster dan when you keep thinking about how to develop an idea best. I did that for wayyy to long. ;)
Like Picasso once said; ‘Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.’
These are all 100 illustrations. I’m not happy with all of them so sharing them anyway was a big part of the challenge for a perfectionist like me. ;)
